The Forward Foundation
The Forward Foundation was founded by a group of like-minded individuals aiming for holistic transformation through active citizen engagement. Leading this movement was the late Sri. Ramesh Sivaram, a key figure in water and lake rejuvenation efforts in Bengaluru. An environmental engineer by profession, Ramesh ji had a brilliant mind and was pivotal in establishing neighborhood citizen groups throughout Bengaluru, encouraging local responsibility for water bodies and civic projects. Ramesh ji passed away on January 26, 2020, but his work and legacy continue to inspire our initiatives.
G.V. Krishna PRESIDENT
A Chartered Accountant with 3 decades of rich experience in statutory, internal and bank audits, G.V.Krishna ji is the founder member and President of The Forward foundation and an advisor to major Industrial Groups in Karnataka as a Strategic and Business Advisor. He has been Chairman of Audit & CSR committee of HPCL, board member at Jnana Bharathi Prakashana Ltd. and a regular speaker across professional forums.
Murali Devaram SECRETARY
A devoted social activist with 17 years of experience in the field of social work, Murali ji is one of the founder members and Secretary of The Forward Foundation. He is a successful young Businessman and also a sociologist; carries a unique blend of policy and implementation experience in the social sector. He is an environment enthusiast and a staunch believer in sustainable development being critical for us to retain ecological balance.
Ram Prakash L TRUSTEE
Mentor and currently Trustee in the forward Foundation, an NGO for the cause of protecting our Environment.His experience spreads over continents with diverse sectors like manufacturing Consumer products, Coffee estate management, Hospitality industry (A 5-star resort in South Africa) & Software Product Company (ERP).Ramprakash L holds professional qualifications. He holds a B Com (Honours) with Chartered Accountancy, DISA (ICAI) CISA (USA).
Satheesh Amilineni TRUSTEE
Satheesh Amilineni studied Mechanical engineering at AIT, Chikmagalur, M.S from BITS-Pilani and EGMP at IIM-Bangalore. He worked as Software Engineer for 20years including 16.5years at Oracle India Pvt Ltd. He is passionate about water conservation and loves ideating solutions. He manages a firm, SMARTRONIXS to implement IoT Solutions (Home & Office Automation), Software Development and JOYFUL LEISURES, a Luxury Resorts Development. He is part of several society development activities through The Forward Foundation, as a Trustee.
Indrajeet Ghorpade ADVISORY BOARD
Hailing from the illustrious Ghorpade family a Maratha warrior clan settled in the Deccan for over 700 years his deep and passionate love for nature and wildlife began at the Gajendragad branch, nurtured under the guidance of respected Gurus.
Witnessing the drastic decline of wildlife, he initiated the Deccan Conservation Foundation in 2016 to conserve, preserve and protect the last wild spaces of a human dominated and fragmented Deccan a vision and mission he pursues passionately, for the generations to come.
Arvind R. Chenjeri ADVISORY BOARD
Arvind R. Chenjeri is a serial entrepreneur and academic advisor with over 25 years of experience across technology, infrastructure, and education. He holds a B.E. and M.Tech in Embedded Systems, and has co-founded two ventures — Southern Infra, an ISO 9001 certified infrastructure company with a significant government project portfolio, and Aveonix Technologies, an embedded design firm serving India’s aerospace and defence sector.
Alongside his professional work, Arvind has spent over two decades in holistic education and community service, including roles on university academic councils and leadership positions at the Ankitgram Sewadham Ashram, Ujjain. He brings to Forward Foundation a multidisciplinary perspective and a deep commitment to purposeful impact.
